About Us

The Law Office of Howard M. Katz was established in 1992 at 225 Broadway in Manhattan by Howard M. Katz, Esq.

The practice began as a broad based commercial-transactional practice which included providing legal services in commercial collections, enforcement of money judgments and construction litigation. Within those general categories was the creation of corporations and limited liability companies, the purchase and sale of small businesses, filing and foreclosure of Mechanic’s Liens, along with representing our client’s in many other matters that confront the owner’s of business. One such practice area that began as an accommodation to those client’s with commercial vehicles has since expanded to a practice area deserving of its own category. That category is the representation of client’s interests in the defense of commercial truck violations.

Keeping true to the firm’s culture of providing the quality services required by its client base, the practice areas of Wills-Trusts-Estates/Elder Law and the purchase and sale of homes-condominiums-coops constitutes the firm’s primary area’s of practice.

Today the Law Office of Howard M. Katz continues to provide the same quality legal services as when it began.
